The boys had some fresh broccoli and sweetcorn earlier (the corn had all the leaves etc on) and Big Red decided he was going to take charge of the food. He ended up dragging the corn about a metre across the floor to the corner of the run where he and The Colonel started eating it.

After a few minutes he suddenly realised he'd forgotten the broccoli so set off across the floor (was running at this point) squeaking at the top of his voice. He repeated the dragging it back to the corner until all but one piece of broccoli was in the corner with the corn and The Colonel. It took almost 30 mins for him to remember that he'd left a piece of broccoli on the other side of the run and he shot off to go and get it, squeaking and squealing.

He ate that piece of broccoli where it was and then wandered back across the run to his little pile of food. He's now asleep leaning against the corn while The Colonel is eating it over his head!
 
I love watching my piggies take a piece of vegetable or fruit, then pop it in their mouth and run with it!

Sometimes when it is too big to get through the bedroom door of the hutch, it is even more entertaining to watch them struggle to get it through.

But as the saying goes ... where there is a will, there is a way! :)):))
