Squeaky (my 6 year old problems pig :))) is such a darling, he really makes me laugh!
Whenever I give him his veggies, he always picks them all up in his mouth and puts them all infront of him, snuggles down comfortably and eats the whole lot in one go!
I looked in his cage a few minutes ago, and he was fast asleep with his chin resting on some tomatoes and cabbage. It didnt look very comfy for him so I picked them up and put them back in the veggies bowl. I've just had a quick peek again now and he has taken the cabbage and tomatoes out of the foodbowl, and has fallen asleep with his head on them again! :))
Unfortunately no pics as I'm on my phone at the mo.
So do any of your pigs have strange little habits? or if you have any stories of similar incidents, please feel free to share them. :)

Oh what a sweetheart! It's like he's picking his favourites from the buffet and storing them! My Treacle picks up a piece of veggie, runs into the bedding area with it, nibbles a little and goes back to pick another piece! She's a hoarder :)p
 
How cute my Chester pig is a bit of a chubby boy and if you give him treats he'll take them, chew them a bit and then wait till you aren't look it and drop it so you give him another and keep doing it and he creates this little pile that he just sits and scofs to himself !
 
Both of mine try to get all the bits they like in a little line in front of them. Its a race to see who can get the best bits fastest!
 
Awww what a sweetie x) I dont have a piggy story to share but my first hamster Frank hoarded which is quite normal for hamsters but he ate his hoard while sleeping. He'd reach his paws out into his stash, eyes still closed, then eat whatever he managed to grab while still appearing to be fast asleep. Countless times I'd go into see him and find him asleep with a piece of grain clutched in his paws. :))
 
max will run out first and grab all the celery then when jessie realises its safe she takes all the cabbage and tiger -lily comes out last and gets the carrots :)) i now put all the veggies in seperate piles like a pick and mix :))

They are all little characters, so more than others, never heard of that before, so cute. I had a boar called Twinkle that used to ring a bell to get your attention, whether it was to come out of his cage or ring for his veg. rolleyes:))

My eldest Fuzzy normally eats all his food at his food bowl but you soon know if he picks up something he REALLY likes because he legs it across the cage and runs into his hammock house to eat it. With his back to the world so Tyler can't pinch it lol.
 
Daniel is timid. He sneaks out and takes some back to his house. Jack will take it from my hand and when its all finished and I hold both my hands up in an "all done" sort of pose, he will sniff both hands one after the other - as if to check:))
