I've Guinea proofed my living room/ kitchen area so my Guinea pigs can have a run around and I opened there cage, they all ran around for five minutes and are now sat back in their cage!

I thought it was so funny that they have a huge space and would still rather sit in their cage hahaa
 
Hopefully when they get used to having the space your guinea pigs will enjoy themselves. My piggies get floor time every day while I poop pick the fleece and change hay etc. They hide in a corner or behind the cage and look miserable. If I take too long they are biting the cage and rattling the door to get back in. When they get back in the cage they run round checking to see everything is where they like it, the cage really is their home and they hate leaving it. I hope this will change one day and they will enjoy floor and lap time.
 
That's true! They used to get floor time in a fencey thing I had but I thought I'd give them a larger space :)
