Silly question ....

I know its silly (well I feel abit silly asking anyway :red ) ....... but I was just wondering if when you put your piggies out in their runs to graze for a few hours do you still give them veg when they come in?

I have been and Weena, shall we say has a very expanded waist band (no she's not with child - she is pure don't you know )

So what do you do?

Can piggies get enough goodness from the grass in the summer? (I know winter grass is different )

Yep I still give them veggies because they need the extra vit c and I'm not sure our grass would give it. The only time I replace veggie greens is when I give Dandalion leaves but I still give 4 other veggies with it.

I agree, mine stuff grass all day but still let me know if I'm running late with their tea!(esp my ladies!)

Yes I do, but if they have had large amounts of grass then it might be worthwhile reducing the 'green' veggies such as lettuce and cabbage, as these can be quite gassy and cause bloating.

Mine would soon be shouting at me if i did not give them thier veggies at teatime and they all would start clanking the water bottles too noisy lot mine are.
