Singing piggy

One of my piggies (I'm going with Acorah) has taken to singing to me at least once a week when I'm home for the night (I work nights twice a week) and am laying in bed listening to classic FM with the lights out. She tends to like to sing to Mozart although I have heard her sing to other composers too. Generally soft, relaxing pieces.

Just thought I'd share :P

I have heard that piggies can sing occasionally, but it is rare. You're very lucky! :smitten: :smitten:
 
What does it sound like?

It's kind of like a chirping. When I first heard it I thought it was my sisters bird (it was her piggy in her room) then with my mums male it sounded like a mix between chirping and breathing and with my piggy it varies between loud birdy noises to soft barely audible under her breath chirping.



Yeah apparently it is pretty rare, it's the happiest noise a piggy can make. This is why I think it's Acorah and not Dandylion as we've been through a lot more and we have a complete bond to the degree that when she's poorly she trusts me to do what's right, even when it involves syringe feeding and foul tasting medicine, she trusts that I'll take her through it. I'm so pleased that I'm priviledged enough to hear it and I hope the other eventually feels like singing too :)
 
Wow I wonder if thats what Laska is doing when she 'bubbles'. Sometimes when I am holding her and feeding/ petting her quietly, she does this long soft noise like when you talk/sing underwater. It varies in pitch and tone but its not like any noise any of the others make and reminds me of a bird chirping or a baby talking to itself. :smitten:
 
i think thats what pansy does. it soo sounds like chiruping. i never thought it was, but by your description it sounds like it. :smitten: :smitten: :smitten: :smitten: she REALLY trusts me and loves me like Acorah does you!. :smitten: :smitten: :smitten:
 
My sister has a recording of singing. Hold on I'll see if I can put it on here for you guys.
