Single piggie ideas

Hi everyone,
Unfortunately a month or two ago now my two piggies Oscar and Rubix had to be separated as Rubix bit a hole in Oscars ear :..., Oscar is fine with being a single boar, he's been one for most of his life and he loves nothing more than some peace and quite. I'm not sure how well Rubix is coping, most of the time i think he's fine but today he just wasn't his self. I bought him up stairs for hugs and he's almost back to his old mental self. He's still a baby really, but I don't think getting him a friend is the best idea seeing what he did to Oscar. I was wondering if anyone has any ideas about things to keep him busy?

Can you not keep them side by side? For company. With males it can be a clash of personality and sometimes they don't get on with their original cage mate. In which case boar dating is a good idea, going to a rescue and letting them match him up with another male. I also find things like cardboard boxes stuffed with hay and forage boxes keep them amused
