Siren has this new thing where she will start gnawing on the wiring of her cage and it's driving me nuts plus I don't want her to hurt her little teeth! She has a little wooden carrot chew toy and thin wood sticks to chew on but every time I show her the sick (it's the closest resemblance to what I'm trying to get her away from) she chews on it for a few seconds before going back to her cage.....
... Is it because it's cold on her mouth?!?!?

It could be she's bored or she wants you to feed her/stroke her. They can be quite attention seeking and if you are ignoring they will do whatever it takes to get your attention.

Sadly as far as I know there's nothing to stop them doing this. I have suffered from 4 bar chewers for about 5 years now. Luckily my current 3, they only do it when its vegetable time after learning the habit from the others who would chew constantly any time they wanted anything.
I've tried literally everything I can think of to stop them and nothing has. The best way I stopped them was to cover the bars in fleece but then they couldn't see out or over it so it felt mean and I removed it.

Wish I could give better advice but the only way it got less worse for me was the naughty ones slowly passing away and the new ones not learning the habit as badly.

That helps me! She's slowly letting me put her and whatnot when she stands up on the opening... It's adorable.
At least I know it's common and not just a Siren thing.

Its possible you reacted to it once by going over there and now she sees it as a way for your attention. She's adorable, I saw your photos :)
It certainly isn't :))

Is she still in that tiny pink cage you first got? If so, she probably needs more room to run about and exercise.
