Hi there,
I have two amazing boars who I love immensely. One has head issues which cause head tilts who is six months old while the other had a small sneeze when we first got him that he gave to the other. After meds, they are both completely fine, expect the older one still has a head tilt. The younger one however will constantly pee where he is standing and sit there. He will pee in his favorite hidie where they both cuddle and they will both stand in his pee for a long time. Overnight. They have a c and c grid cage that is five by five grids. I use fleece as bedding. Even when I take him out of the cage, he will pee on the floor and stand there. He exercises a lot, loves to run around and constantly popcorns, but I always find him sitting in his urine when he isn't running about/grabbing food. I'm worried he will develop bumblefoot from this. I clean their bedding as much as possible/ move around their hidie to stop them from constantly sitting in a pee soaked area but I don't know. Is this normal guinea pig behavior? I also give them 1 mg of the child's life vitamin C every morning.
