I am new to this site and need help. My male guinea pig (3 months old) has a swollen bottom. He is eating, drinking and pooping but when I start to pick him up he squeaks like he is uncomfortable. Could he have an impaction?

If you post in the health and illness section you will get advice, however it sounds like he should go to the vets. Impaction is usually an old age thing in pigs.

Haha, thank you! That's my little Panda-bear. She's such a stunning piggy, her coat pattern is amazing!
 
My OH just shouted 'SHHH!' towards the back door - he thought the noise was mine, haha!

They are so lovely hun, I have never seen all your piggies before, I can't decide which is the cutest but I think the peru might win...

Do you have a boar in there? If so which one is he?!
 
Oh my goodness! It's like feeding time here! :)) So happy to see them all so bonded, I noticed Einstein getting right to the front! :(|)

LOL! Aww, sorry, the blame's all on my piggies this time! :x

Which Peru? There's two - Einstein (PEW - he's my boar) and Tess, the grey hairy mop head. Einstein looks more like your typical peru. Tess's hair grows funny and is quite fine so depending on what angle you get her at she doesn't always look like a peruvian piggle!

Heehee! Einstein's only just started coming out of his shell! As you said when we came to pick him up he wasn't all that bothered about veggies as soon as you put them in but this last week or so he's been throwing his weight around as if to say "I'm the man, I get the best veggies!". He's still quite shy when you go in the shed, he's almost always last to stick his head out to say hello, but when there's food around you can guarantee he'll make his big, rumbling entrance!
 
thankfully, I watched this just after dinner, otherwise I would have had a revolution on my hands... :))

Brilliant, who is the one at the back on 1.20 the long haired one with white hair at front and brown at back, she/he is gorgeous!

I oneday will have as many piggies as you have! :)) That video was so funny, I loved how the one of them jumped into the little tray, he must be slightly more hungrier than the others lol
Then after, all of a sudden... no noise lol

Your video only makes me want to get my guinea pigs quicker! Thanks for sharing and they are all so beautiful and obviously very well looked after :)

Just played this and all threee of my girlies ears pricked up and they were looking around if is to say...wheres that coming from?!?!?

Thankfully they currently have their morning veg, so are too busy munching to respond!
