I was doing the weekly check on the piggies today. Weights, skin, teeth etc.
Good news is that none of them have lost weight. Luna is 1077g, Penny is 939g and Parker is 1020g.
However, Luna has got dry, flaky skin in one section of her back and it seems to come out in little clumps. Whether or not this is because I used our pet hair dryer on lowest setting (heat and speed) after she had a bath the other day I don't know (sorry if I shouldn't have but I looked it up and read that it would be okay). Penny has a scab on her back but I don't know whether this is from a little fight as such, or whether its something else. All 3 of them are getting along fine, so I'm not sure. Parker seems to be absolutely fine.

I can't get them to the vets until 4th Jan earliest as I am working 12-hour shifts until then, starting tomorrow, and I'm off to work this afternoon at 13:30 til 20:00.

Is there anything I can do/get in the mean time?
Any help will be appreciated.
Thanks,
Jess

hi jess, it sounds like it could be the start of mites. i use easimec ivermectin. i checked at the vets and they said it is the correct stuff but it is a lot cheaper to buy on line than at the vets. i'll try and find the link to the one i get.
