Hi all ive noiced Masie and Evie scatching a bit lately and tonight when i looked under Maisies chin its all crusty and looks like its bled a bit. I did see something on her the other day but when i picked her up to look at it i couldnt find it. Anyone know what it could be? I have johnsons mite shampoo think i should bath Maisie but obviously with Evie being pregnant i cant do her so Maisie will just get them back....Help please

I don't know what to do with pregnant pigs but I used this cream from gorgeousguineas on Corly's fungi infection ears and then he got two lumps on his head which were fungi and i just smothered them in cream (after clipping away all his hair around the area) and they fell off and its just healing now. Give the cage a massive scrub.

they are indoors at the moment because of Evie having babies so its been getting cleaned everyday. Hopefully Vedra can give me something on friday.

Vedra should be able to help, for now Aloe Vera gel may soothe the patch under Maisie's chin - it may not deal with the cause, but it will help reduce any irritation until you can get a diagnosis and treatment.

Dont know wether to give her a bath or if it might make it worse? might wait until ive seen vedra tomoro x bit anxious as i so want Maisie to be ok :(

Talk to your regular physician they should be able to recommend something and if not see a dermatologist. Hope whatever it is gets better soon!
