Hello - my little three year old guinea, Poppet, has developed what looks (and feels like) skin tags around her eyes. She had had them about a year and they don't cause her any pain when touched. One especially (see photo) Is growing slightly/gradually.
Has any one else delt with this?
Should I leave them alone?
If I took her to the vet would they have to put her under anesthetiser, or would there be another way like freezing them off after numbing them?
Thank you for any help.

@Amba If they are not bothering her and I would think that around the eye then they're not going to get knocked then I would leave it.

You can mention it to the vet next tine you're there.

Or if you would prefer it to be removed the vet can do it for you. I would recommend leaving it for the vet to do as it will have a blood supply and will hurt if you mess with it.

They could be the guinea pig equivalent of a skin tag, or a number of other things. If they aren't bothering her and they aren't growing rapidly, I'd suggest leaving them. They might be able to be removed with a bit of local anaesthetic by the vet.
