Buddy has always had problems with his skin and I have noticed that he has what looks like dry skin, I'm making an appointment for the vet tomorrow, does anyone have any idea what this could be ? image.webpimage.webp

:D It just looks like flaky skin to me. A bath with a suitable shampoo (maybe something from "Gorgeous Guineas") would help. It does not look sore or inflamed. A couple of my girls have flaky skin.

I've just gave him a bath with gorgeous guinea shampoo(which is fab) and his skin looks great now :)

Agree, could be flaky skin (Vimto gets this) possibly fungal... Worth getting checked out just in case. We at first thought Vimto's was fungal but it is just dry flakey skin with her

And Sunrise was the opposite, I thought she had flaky skin, and it turned out she had mites :hb:
To be fair she DOES have flaky skin, but it got worse when she developed the mite problem, but being as I was used to her skin being a bit flaky I didn't see the mite issue until she started scratching herself..
