Skinny Pig Health

Thanks everyone spoke to the vet this morning who said she's already had a full faecal check done and it came back normal. The only option we have left is to put her on a small dose of steroids, sounds like she's suffering from IBS in guinea pig form

Well I can sympathise as I have that too. I would try cutting grains out of her diet if you can, as they can cause inflammation in the gut. I feed grainless pellets.

Thanks, the vet advised to put her on a high fibre diet. Never knew guinea pigs could get something like IBS

Would just like to say misty passed away on the 27th. Although I miss her crazily I know she is no longer suffering in pain. I did everything possible in the 8 weeks I had her.
