Skinny Pigs..poop Alot...alot

For anyone who is thinking of owning Skinnies...

This is after I cleaned the boys out at 7am.

This is when I returned from work at 7.30 pm.

I can assure everyone I clean my boys out twice a day. As you can see...this is why :) :)

@GloriousGuineaGirl where do yours do most of their weeing? I have litter tray in a corner under a shelf and thankfully they do most of their wees and poos in there...I'd have to change the fleece so much otherwise, how often do you need to?

I used to have a litter tray but they spent so much time in it they started to get sore feet even though I had changed it twice a day.

They wee and poop everywhere. I change their fleeces every 2 days. We have a big water bill :)

Oh no! Mine's ok with just 1 skinny using it at the mo, maybe when he's fully grown it'll be a different story though! Luckily we're not on a water metre anyway so just electricity bill to worry about. I do a piggy load every other day too!

Now that is a lot of poo, even more than Tabs and Thumbles I think, though they seem to have buried theirs under a massive pile of newspaper they have rippped apart. Katie is tidy and keeps all her poos in her selection of cozies and the red hay box.
 
And @Raul was getting excited about them! Show him that :) hahaha.

Yes they poop alot but it's standard for them both considering how much hay they eat. I fill those hay bags 3 times a day and they are big ones!
 
I just did, he was a bit shocked, I think boy skinnies must poo even more than girl ones. They do eat absolutely loads though.
 
Wow! So many poops and I thought my girls were bad! :D Although kiwi did manage to do over 50 poops whilst sat on my lap for a few minutes the other day! Think that's her record!
 
I have 2 skinny boys who are now both approaching 6 years old and are not quite so bad now but they stilleat and poop more than any of the hairy pigs. I also have a lakeland and he follows the same pattern.
