Slanted Teeth After Spay

Excellent, brilliant news! I too have seen Simon and Kim, Barry is now our heavyweight piggy, he doesn't know when to stop eating :)) I've grown some wheatgrass in tubs for our boys, they love it :luv:

Feeling a bit disheartened this morning as Clover's teeth have started to slant again and you can hear her teeth moving alongside each other.

Is this normal? I'm worried her jaw will never go back to normal and this will be something she'll have for life.

We're back to see Simon tomorrow so absolutely certain she'll get another dental x

You may have to go back a couple more times for treatment until things start to settle down. She is in the best hands x

Just wanted to give a little update on Cloves.
Simon flushed her abscess last week and filed her teeth down again, he did say he can't be sure that this will ever be cured especially considering how long the abscess was probably there for. He expects she'll probably need dentals every 2-3 weeks at least to begin with. I'm absolutely willing to do this whilst she has a great quality of life and hopefully she has many more years in her.

She's now doing well and is maintaining her weight with a top up feed of around 15 ml every morning and night with her meds.

I'm trying to get her to eat as much grass and hay as possible to wear her teeth down, at least til Simon is back off holiday! We have an appt next Thursday and suspect she'll need another dental as we're starting to get a slight wonk on the teeth again.

I wanted to say a massive thank you to everyone who helped on this thread, without the GP forum I'd have never known about Simon and I highly doubt Clover would still be here. I used to read so many comments about Simon and never quite believed that he could work miracles until now!

Thank you so much for all your help xx

You and Simon both do a brill job of making those piggies have an amazing life! I do keep up with the facebook updates :D

8:10am so it'll be an early start for us! It was the only appt they had avaliable!
