Sleep in eyes

Hi All
The last week or so I have noticed Ronnie keeps getting bits of sleep in his eyes, abit like what us humans get when we wake up in the morning, abit of crust in the corner of the eye lol.

He is very trusting in letting me pick it out for him but wondered if he may need some eye drops or something, its only a small amount he gets, nothing major and his eyes seem fine.

Just wondered as Reggie my other piggie has never had this before.

Any suggestions.

our boy pepper had something similar to this last year, we took him to the vet, who gave us cream to put in his eyes,think it was fucithalmic it cleared up nicely x

Hi Stacey, i'd get little Ronnie to the vets for a check up, maybe there's an infection?
In the meantime use some preboiled cooled down water and wipe his little eye (start at corner and wipe away) till you get to see your vet.

Sky always has crust in his eyes all day long but thats because he has blocked tear ducts, so I just clean them twice daily. Jake also gtes crusty eyes but this is something he's always had also.
