I can not believe that I am back writing a thread here :0

Those of you who are friends with me on Facebook will probably have seen this terrible news already but my precious girl deserves a tribute.

I sadly had to let my Ena go to the bridge on Saturday night :( She got though her lump removal op last Tuesday OK but after bringing her home, she wouldn't leave her stitches and wound alone. I bandaged her up the best I could and she spent Wednesday and Thursday at the vets (coming home in the evening) for observation and re gluing where she settled down a bit.

By Friday, she hadn't touched them and we finally thought she was on the road to recovery.

She was back at the vets on Saturday morning for a check up and antibiotic injection but the results were back and we were told the deverstating news that Ena had lymphoma :0

She had an episode on Saturday night where she went mad at her stitches and pulled them out :(

At the emergency vets, he offered to re stitch her but explained that the wound wasn't healing properly inside and the skin was dying away most likely due to the cancer. We made the heartbreaking decision to let her go rather than put her though another GA, stitches and pain just to keep her here for a few more weeks.

I am devastated, she has died just 10 days after Erin and 4 months after Eleanor. She was 3 at the end of April.

I am now left with a grieving Eliza and Enoch. Eliza has lost her heard and my original group is no more :(

My beautiful Ena, I love and miss you so much. I am so sorry that things turned out the way that they did and the only blessing I have is that at least I do not have to watch you fade away and suffer before my eyes. I hope that you can forgive me for having to let you go.

I hope that you have found Eleanor and Erin and you are enjoying being together once more. You will always hold a special place in my heart.

Oh no Claire, I am absolutely gutted for you. You must be devastated. I can't believe you have lost another beautiful girl so soon.
I was praying that Ena would make it, I can't believe she had Lymphoma as well - so unfair.
You made the best decision for your special girl. I know it hurts so much doing so but it was the best for her. I am so very sorry, I know nothing that can be said to comfort you, but you have done all your girls proud the way you have cared for them. I really hope Eliza and Enoch will be ok having lost their friends so closely together.

I am thinking of you at this sad time and if you need to talk we are here for you.

Goodnight beautiful Ena, your mummy will never forget you.

I'm so sorry Claire, sleep tight beautiful Ena.

You definitely made the right decision for her. I know it's hard but it is the kindest decision we can make for our little ones to make sure that they don't suffer.
 
I am ever so sorry that you had to let Ena go, too. I know how much your heart is bleeding after the dramatic turn of events on Saturday when you had to make the hardest decision of them all only hours after hearing the devastating lab result, but you have made the right decision and have spared your beautiful girl a lot more suffering.

My heart goes out to poor Eliza, little Enoch and you!

RIP Ena, Erin and Ellie - they will always live in your heart together.

I'm so shocked by this news Claire, but you know that she is happy now and that you did the right thing.
RIP Ena, go and popcorn to your friends at rainbow bridge.
 
I'm so very sorry to hear the news of you losing another piggy, you must be so heartbroken.

I am so sorry you lost your stunning girl. You were so thoughtful to let her go rather then put her through more pain just to keep her here. You are the most caring Mum to do this for her.

That's such sad news but you did the kindest thing for her. The girls are reunited at the bridge.

She was so beautiful. You have made the kindest decision for her and you should take comfort knowing that she is now with her friends at rainbow bridge. I can't comprehend how sad you must be feeling after loosing three of your babies. If you need to talk to anyone we are all here for you xx
