Sleep peacefully our old neighbour, Bill ❤️

I have just received a phone call from our old neighbour that her husband, Bill sadly passed away a week ago last Wednesday

We moved house in 2013 and left behind the best neighbours who we had the pleasure of living next door to for nearly 7 years ever, Bill and his wife, Annie. Bill would have been in his 90’s now but he would pop round to our house and feed our pets so we could visit family in Nottingham at weekends. Even when we moved out, they would still collect newspapers for the guinea pigs and Bill would deliver them to us. I feel awful as we haven’t seen them since before lockdown

I will never forget him. Sleep peacefully Bill, my thoughts are with Annie and your family and friends at this sad time xx

Thank you, they really were. They would take in parcels for us so I could sleep as I worked night shifts and invite us round for coffee and biscuits. I was upset when we moved out but we would go and visit them often but we became slack and haven’t seen them for nearly 3 years

It's lovely when you have good neighbours. I think we all get slack when we move away, life gets busy and you intend to visit soon but don't get round to it.

Thank you. Bill really was a special man who will be missed by many I’ve just been out to buy a card and will take it round to Annie sometime this week while hub is off work x
