COVID-19 Sleep problems during lockdown

Thank you. Another restless night but now I’m tired today so I will hopefully sleep tonight x
Fingers crossed. I tried the ‘the’ thing but it didn’t work. It took me a while to fall asleep despite being tired. I’m still feeling it but hopefully will fall asleep quickly tonight. Tomorrow I’ll need a nap, probably between the end of homeschool and cooking dinner. A long one tomorrow 😣
 
i sleep late 2 to 3pm awake late 11am.i do night shifts occasionally,i have done late shifts for years so my body clock is set this way.i just work with it and not worry.ive tried to get to a better sleeping pattern,i just stay awake for a whole week,and will not shift.

I wish I could but I’ve got the kids at home and also work Wednesday mornings at home. It was easier when they were at school because I used to spend Tuesdays sleeping. Then I wouldn’t be too tired after the long shift Tuesday night.

I’ll have to spend Wednesday sleeping once I’ve done my work and given them lunch. It’s going to be a busy one and they likely won’t do everything they’ve been set. I know that’s fine but I still can’t help but feel guilty 🥺 The girls are promised hotel Transylvania 2 on Wednesday. I don’t like to use tv but don’t have a choice.
 
Definitely have this problem, especially the children, we had a movie night beginning of lockdown and now my children won't go to bed until between 1 and 4am 🤦‍♀️😔 keep trying to wake them early but they just end up napping 🙄 as such I am now in the fall asleep 4am wake up 8am routine and very tired! 🤦‍♀️
Must be very difficult and you must be so tired.I hope they can change their sleep pattern soon and you can get some decent rest

I think sometimes you have to do what you can do to manage and tv can be a fantastic help when you need to rest in order to function in "mum mode" later.I dont blame you at all

I think sometimes you have to do what you can do to manage and tv can be a fantastic help when you need to rest in order to function in "mum mode" later.I dont blame you at all
It’s true. I still feel bad because they’re on tv for at least 2 hours on those days. I have a policy of no tv in a school week but it’s out the window with current circumstances 😬

Hopefully! If they get their work done I hopefully will. Neighbours asked us to go out for a walk with them though I don’t know what time
