What can I say...Georgie left us last night on her final journey across the Bridge. We had nearly 9 wonderful years together, but sadly Georgie was obviously to tired to carry on in this world and needed to move on. I like to think I made her as happy as she made me, She was my first Guinea pig and the one who started my love affair with the little critters....Sleep tight and may all your dreams come true...Thankyou for being my friend xx

I am so sorry that it was time for your gorgeous girl to leave. You get back from a pet what you put into it, so she must have been a very happy and loved piggy indeed! Losing your first piggy is always so hard.

RIP George - you will live on forever in that special George-shaped place in your mummy's heart

RIP lovely Georgie - one of the longest lives I've heard of for a Guinea, which gives hope to us all.
 
I just want to thank each and everyone of you for your kind words...She was an amazing girl and I miss her so much, but like many of you have said she lived to a ripe old age and had a happy life, from memory I think we only went to the vets 3 times in her life , the 1st time I obviously bought some dodgy hay and she got hay mites and last year she had a couple of bouts of cystitus, so a generally healthy life too, I do feel heartbroken...and sick in my tummy if I am honest but her life needs celebrating, she would like that , so that is what I will do xx
