While we were in London earlier this week, my mum stayed to look after the cats like she usually does. Harrison who was nearly 16 suddenly went downhill on Wednesday
My parents rushed him to the vets but we sadly had to give permission for him to be helped over the rainbow bridge
The vet who was lovely and made his passing as gentle and dignified as possible was pretty certain it was his kidneys
We’re devastated but I’m so grateful that my mum and dad were with him and comforted him while he crossed over the rainbow bridge
Harrison came to us at just 4 months old back in December 2008 after his previous family were going to abandon him on the streets so we offered him a home. He lived as a single cat until we adopted Dexter in 2014. After Dexter died in 2019, we adopted Austin and Morris but he didn’t gel with them like he did with Dexter and the relationship between Harrison and Austin especially was rather unstable for the last year or so
but we battled through
Sleep tight beautiful Harrison. Reunited with Dexter over the rainbow bridge. You’ll be sadly missed by us all, even Austin and Morris who keep looking for you
