Sleep tight Jenny beans!

This is Jenny who was sadly put to sleep 2 weeks ago. She was only 9 years old, which i dont think is old :( That same week my nana also died, so loosing 2 family members in a week is such a sad but bizzare feeling :(

She seemed ill for a few days, but she has been ill like this before and after being to the vets each time shes always been fine, she had just eaten something outside so this time we didnt think anything different. However she was diagnosed with liver cancer and the vet said she would be sufferring if we brought her home and kept her alive. So we had her put down, all 4 of us went to say our goodbye to her.
This is the first time I have ever had a dog put down, we've had her since i was about 13. I'm so used t her being here, its strange without her :'( Knowing that she's gone forever makes me so sad :(

We really miss her. She was so funny and cute, she always scrounged for food off us, looked forward to us coming in, rolled around and make growling noises, she smiled and loved her chin being scratched.

I tried to add this part but the 5 minutes had expired:

It was such a shock. I didnt think that when mum took her to the vets in the morning that she wouldnt be coming home :'( She was my little sister! My little mate! And shes not here :( We can't laugh at her anymore. Was a proper shock.

Thanks so much for your replies :)

Her ashes are in our living room at the moment with us, well be scattering them in the field where we used to walk her. Me and my sister are more used to her not being here now *** my mum m dad went away for 5 days a few days after she was put down. My dad was in tears today and told me he missed her. Sads :(

I am so sorry for your loses. You are having a very rough time now. It is a lovely idea to scatter her ashes were she enjoyed going for a walk.

So sorry about your Nan. You must be reeling after losing two members of your family in one week, it's never easy. Be kind to yourself and give yourself time to grieve for both of them. x
 
I am very sorry for your losses; what a sad time for you!
