I'm sorry, I completely missed your original thread but have now read it. I couldn't have offered any advice, but I hope very much that Bruce pulls through. I do find that Supreme Science Recovery food is very good, if he will not take the mushed pellets.
Huge hugs to you. It's very sad indeed. He was well loved and you did everything you could for him, but sadly some are just not strong enough to pull through.
