So it is with a heavy heart I am here to say we had to help Mr Pig across the rainbow bridge yesterday evening.
He had the best time here and outlived both our girls. Coming to us from another forum member and whilst initially it didn't quite work how we had planned he was so loved.
Even to the end he was loud and wheeking, asking for his food every day despite loosing weight. Eventually his back legs were not what they were and it was best to let him leave whilst he had some dignity.
Sleep well my handsome boy, I hope you've found Noodle and Spaghetti on the other side.

I remember Mr Pig. What lovely pictures and tribute to him.

You have given him a new loving home and all possible happiness for as long possible.

Guinea pigs measure their lives not in average lifespans or in years but in happy todays in good care, being safe and surrounded by love. Cheeky Mr Pig certainly has had that!

Thank you for all the kind words, it is odd not getting his breakfast ready or hearing him wheek in the morning.
Although they were never mine and initially I wasn't sure about them, they find a way to get into your heart.
