Had you from 7 weeks old and you’d just turned 4 and today I held your body until it was cold. A huge chunk of me has died with you today. Snowy was just a beautiful baby. That really was the perfect name for him. It's going to be a bit difficult for awhile and you need that time to grieve. You can't replace your little one and he'll always be missed but in time, you will be able to remember him very fondly. Talk about him to anyone around you when you feel the need and give yourself a break for a bit; your feelings are very important. Losing a beloved guinea pig is something everyone feels deeply as most of us have lost one that felt devastating to lose. Talk of him as much as you like here and know there are a lot of people here whom understand your pain and are here for you.
RIP little Snowy.

You need to be gentle with yourself now and take time to grieve.
 
Thanks for all your support. Losing 4 of my female pigs last year was incredibly hard and this forum and it’s support were a lifeline for me,but losing my very tame cuddly lap pig who I had a bond with that I can’t even put into words, has ripped me apart.
 
I’m very sorry for your loss. Snowy had an amazing life for you and you could have done nothing more. Xx
 
What a beautiful boy. He will live on in your heart even though it is broken. Carry the good memories with you, and cry when you need to. Loss is so hard, but he knew you loved him and take comfort in that if you can. Run free over the rainbow bridge little Snowy
 
Massive hugs to you, Snowy was gorgeous and it is so plain to see how much they had a caring life full of love with you. Please take time to be kind to yourself. I am really sorry for your loss.

Thanks everyone for your kind words, I can breathe a little easier today and I hope to breather a little easier tomorrow than today. My 2 remaining girls are doing well and I’ve been cuddling them to ease my pain(not that they wanted cuddles though) here is uncuddly fudge 160F473E-C0B9-40BD-8B1C-C372F2B2CE05.webp
