Sleep tight paddy...

My poor paddy has passed away... 8...

Just a week before he went to his forever home...
I found him Sunday morning making his way over the bridge... I gave him 5 mins of cuddles with the intention of bringing him to the vets if he lasted any longer... But he passed away in my arms...
I have no idea what happened...
He showed no signs of illness... I checked on the pigs at 1am Sunday and he was fine... and went in there at 6:30am Sunday morning and rocky was chirping... And i found paddy collapsed...
Paddy was a very special pig... He came in to rescue in such a state... He was syringe fed round the clock for two weeks... And finally recovered from a whole host of medical problems and a year later was finally going to his forever home with his best friend rocky...

The sheds temp. Was fine... There was no warning at all that he wasn't feeling well... I'm totally at a loss as to what happened...

Rip paddy... I'm so sorry you never made it to your forever home... 8...

Aww I am so sorry about Paddy :( What was important is that he passed away under your care and love, not in the neglect he suffered before he came to you, he must have felt very lucky!

R.I.P beautiful Paddy.
 
So sorry to hear about Paddy. He was given a second chance when he came to you and at least he knew what it was like to be cared for and loved. Popcorn free at the bridge little Paddy..x
 
Oh Clare, so sorry to read this, so sad. He was such a beautiful boy, he would have known how much you have loved and helped him. Hope you are ok. Massive hugs to you x x

I met paddy, he was adorable and him and rocky were best pals :(
So sorry hun, i have no idea what could have happened either, heart failure?

Ahhhj Poor Paddy and poor Rocky. I hope you find him another friend soon. At least he was loved, cared for and comfortable in his last months, so even if he didn't make his forever home, he knew happiness and comfort.

Oh no! I'm so so sorry. Paddy was a very special piggy. RIP Paddy, run free over the bridge precious one.
 
So sorry to hear about Paddy. (((((hugs))))) His final few months were full of love and care and you gave him those. Rest in peace Paddy and popcorn over the bridge. x

I'm so sorry hun you have lost Paddy - what a sweet boy and you must be gutted he was so close to his forever home :(

poor paddy, at least he knew care and love before his passing unlike what he experienced before you got him
hope rocky can find a new friend and a forever home, would he still go to the person that wanted them if he gets a new friend, would be nice if they still wanted him
