Unfortunately we have found miss spaghetti in her forever sleep this evening.
No warning, just gone.
You came to us with your sister as a tiny little thing and grew into a beautiful girl, we thought you were the quiet one but you soon showed us you were top pig when we tried to introduce your husband!
You weren't keen on being held but loved time in your run and coriander, and secretly we think you did like Mr Pig you just didn't want to share noodle with him. My daughter is devastated as you were her first pets and she waited so long to have you, 4 years isn't long but you were loved. Sleep well spaghetti.

I m so sorry to read this sad news, it must have been such a shock for you all. We have had to say goodbye to so many piggies lately. She was a beautiful girl and had a great life with you and will take that with her to the bridge. Please be happy for her that she passed peacefully in her own home surrounded by love and friends - I am sure that is the way all piggies would like to go. She will leave a piggie shaped hole in your heart but treasured memories too. Sending hugs to you all x

Thank you everyone for your kind words, it was a shock but I spent a while explaining about prey animals hiding illness etc, my daughter understands as she is old enough and an avid reader of the GP magazine but she felt guilty as we had left early yesterday morning for sporting activities and she didn't do the breakfast, her brother did, so it wasn't until she went to do the afternoon/evening routine we discovered her.
It is the price we pay for loving them that it hurts when they leave. Even I am surprised that these tiny creatures (which were never to be mine, ended up buying them a shed?!) took such a part of my heart.
