On Christmas of last year, my parents surprised me and my sister with two guinea pigs which we'd always asked for but we never thought our parents would actually get us some, and we were so happy. We named them Bublé (on the left of the picture) and Whiskey (looking straight into the camera). It made us gain a lot of responsibility and even though cleaning a cage isn't the best thing to do on Saturday mornings, it was worth it.
Sadly one day Whiskey started to pee blood one day and we rushed to the vet, who gave us medicine. He was better on some days than others, and one day his pee stopped being red at all and we were so relieved.
The next day Whiskey would not pee or poo and when we took him to the vet, x rays showed a giant stone blocking the way. They tried everything they could to take it out but they couldn't and since he was in so much pain we decided it was best for the little guy to be put down.
He was one of the cutest guinea pigs I had ever seen and I still remember how he would always find a way to slip inside my hoodie when we would cuddle.
RIP Whiskey! :bye:
