Two days ago I had to give Snowy a hand in helping him to rainbow bridge. The little pig was such a character, standing on his hind legs squeaking for food and wriggling away from cuddles. Nothing phased him and things that make Smudge run into his house, Snowy just stood there and didn't take the slightest interest!
I'll miss him so much and I know Smudge will too.

I’m so sorry that you have lost such a characterful piggy. You clearly knew and loved him and knew when the time was right for him. That’s such a brave decision made through love. Hugs. Popcorn free Snowy
 
Thank you all for your words. Smudge seems to be doing well, is eating well and still his usual self which is great for me. I think it would have been 10x harder if Smudge struggled with the grieving process. Thanks for the guide Wiebke. I'm on night shifts for the next four days and then I think myself and Smudge will look at picking him a new friend to share his life with. Snowy will never be forgotten, you couldn't he was such a character he made sure of that! But I know with Smudge being only 2, its the right thing to do.

I am so sorry for the loss of your little piggy. PTS is always such a hard choice but one we always make with the love we have for our little ones at the forefront of our mind. Hugely sorry, massive hugs
