Sleep well little Charlie

This is the gorgeous Charlie a little chap who I had the pleasure of caring for last week. Charlie came to stay with me for a couple of weeks whilst his owners were in America. Unfortunately, last Wednesday Charlie suddenly went into GI stasis and despite our best efforts we lost this lovely little chap yesterday morning.8...

The vet thought we were going to lose him last Wednesday, but after a sleepless night syringe feeding him every couple of hours and giving him his meds regularly, amazingly he improved and appeared to be making a good recovery. I was still supplimenting him with syringe feeds, which he loved, but unfortunately the stasis proved too much for Charlie and I lost him in the early hours of Monday morning.

Sleep well little man, I know your family are feeling guilty about not being there for you, but we all loved you and it was an honour to have spent the last week caring for you.

aw i am so sorry to hear this Sandra. Poor little fellow, i am so pleased though Charlie lived his final moments with someone as lovely as you and your family, but such a shame for him not seeing is own family to say his final goodbye.

rest in peace sweetheart, you will never be forgotton.
