Sleep Well Little Rupert

sadly, after his neurological problem became too much for him to handle, little rupert passed away this evening. I wanted to share as I know a few of you were quite invested in ruperts story and wanted to know how he was getting on.

He was the most cuddly guinea pig and he loved popcorning and eating carrots and lettuce. He was always wheeking and squeaking for food even after he had just been fed! He was such a character and had such an amazing little personality and we will miss him so dearly. Both his piggie and human family are missing him like crazy and the herd dynamic is so different without him.

Rupert, you are irreplaceable. You were the sweetest guinea pig I have ever come into contact with. We all miss you so much and you will love on forever in our hearts and minds. We hope you are popcorning and munching veggies and hay over the rainbow bridge with little Greg - I hope you two are great friends. We miss you so much already and it’s not the same without you. Our love for you and your tiny nose will never fade! Sleep tight little man xx

I am so sorry that you have lost your special little boy - Rupert will hopefully enjoy popcorning at the Rainbow Bridge!

He couldn't have a more loving or caring home and a happy life, as much as the genetic bombshell in his little body has allowed him.
