You loved chewing boxes and eating peanuts. You also destroyed my earphones :lol:
You will be meeting your brother over the bridge. I think you lost interest after your brother passed but also from old age as you were around 3.

I'm so sorry about Mr Gerbil. My BFF has 2 gerbils and I love them! But of course, I still prefer my piggies. Chew free with your brother, Mr Gerbil xx
 
They are crazy creatures! I was expecting this as they are known to pass not long after their partners x

The house is too quiet without him now. I would barely see him or his brother as they were always chewing and digging underneath the substrate! Thank you for the messages everyone x

Thank you Lee.
I loved his fading to black tail! His eyes were also a very dark blue rather than black. The two gerbils did well considering they came from P@H!
 
He had striking eyes didn't he x

I'd heard that he would either pass away not long after his brother or never take to another gerbil. I didn't want to start the cycle of replacing gerbils either. I also didn't want to separate the tank as I like them having lots of room x

Please don't feel guilty! I thought long and hard before planning to add a friend. It was a gamble because gerbils are not the easiest to bond but I knew I wanted more gerbils after Pepper passed and I bought a gigantic tank which could be split in case it was needed. After Pepper died I went through the same to find a friend for Pumpkin but was lucky to find two babies free to a good home from unplanned litter.

I'm sure he had a fab life with you! x
