Hi.

I have 2 male guineas, about 6 months old, who are brothers and have never really fought. Just recently I've noticed that the dominant one (Moonpig) isn't letting the other one (Sunny) in the bedding compartment of the hutch at night. now it's getting a bit chillier i hate seeing Sunny sitting in the open bit while Moonie is snuggled up with all the hay in the shelter.

We've started putting a wooden tunnell in the open bit for Sunny to go in at night, but i'd be so much better if we could get Moonpig to let him in there.

Any suggestions?

Cheers guys.

Depending how big the cage/hutch is, you might have to put another sleeping area in.
I have father and son living together and they won't share a "bedroom" either but I got around that with giving them one huge "bedroom" (size to fit one full sized bunny) and they are now happily sharing because both of them have their space to stretch out.

thanks to all of you. maybe making a divide for their sleeping compartment would mean they could both stay in there and not get chilly.

I've found a lovely indoor cage so they'll be in before too long anyway
