So it's been just over two weeks since my little Blue Cross girls arrived. They've settled in fantastically well with my 'big pigs', and I hope that continues when the hormones hit in a few months time.

They're slowly beginning to relax around us humans. I had a major breakthrough this evening when little Wenlock came over and took a couple of dandelion leaves from me as I offered them to Brunel and Lilith. Here she is pottering around the run.

Little Wellington is less sure about us, but she's growing well and loves charging round like a lunatic outside.

It sounds like it is going well and clearly you have fantastic home to offer.
Since you clearly know what you are doing, you also know they will eventually come around.
I current;y have 3 'snugglers' and 1 who is yet to be convinced.

I haven't had a lap pig for years now, not since my Dougal died a good 8 years ago now.

Of my current pigs Mr Brunel likes to sit next to you on the sofa, but doesn't want a cuddle as such. He'll always come over and rub noses as you pass the hutch, but he's not cuddly. Lilith is the boldest, most social pig I've ever met - but whilst she likes her humans and will always come over for a chat and a scratch she won't sit still for long enough to actually relax and have a proper cuddle.

Perhaps either little Wellington or Wenlock will grow up to be cuddly once they're a bit older.
