Slug in vegetables!?

Hello, after feeding my pigs their dinner for tonight I found a small dried up slug in the strainer I had washed the vegetables in. I threw it out and rewashed all the veggies I could. But has this ever happened to you and if do where your babies okay? Apparently slugs carry lungworm?! I only read that after they where finished eating of course. I'm so worried.

The lungworm risk comes from eating the actual slug - which did not happen.
Therefore, and given the veg was washed, I do not think there is any risk to your piggies
