Hey everyone,

All my boys are outdoors in a shed, We've been issued weather warnings for severe winds so were bringing the boys inside until its over.

I need 3 cages which i have 2 ferplast 120 and i have a smaller cage that is 27ich long 15inch high and 15inch wide.

Would this be ok short term for one of my single boys? Should only be for a day or two. He'll still have plenty of exercise as we use the hallway for them to run around on when the weathers poor.

I don't trust the shed to not blow over as we live in open space on a hill and its shocking in windy weather!

27 inches hmmm about 70cm. Well tbh I think he'll manage for one to two days in that than being outside at the risk of the shed being blown about.

I agree with Hannah a small cage is preferable to being in a shed that might be blown down lol, and it's a temporary thing too.

Could you add an extra level in somehow (wire cooling tray cable tied and some fleece layers put on it) just to give him a little more room.

I'll try do what i can with it to give him as much room as possible - i'm hoping i can find a bigger cage before i need to bring them in.

Are they the outside measurements or the inside? People generally measure only outside but I've just measured the inside of one cage that I kept Harvey and Jasper in once for a few days when their hutch flooded and it's just about the same size, so if my two adult boars can live 'ok' in this one temporally, I'm sure a lone could as well so don't worry, it's not going to do them any harm.
