Small lump developed

Hello,
Hope someone can help me, I’ve just given one of my piggies a bath today, as I was washing him I noticed a small lump on his back, I’ve never noticed that before!
It was hard to see under the fur, but it was a softish/hard lump. Felt like what I assumed a cyst would be like? His behaviour has had no changes! He’s been popcorning and been his normal self lately!
I’ve taken a picture of what I could see on the surface, I just wondered if anyone could help with what the issue may be before taking him to a vet. Thank you!

Yes! It’s been on my mind since finding it today! I’ll ring a vet tomorrow for sure!

My Patrick has a lump on his back. It was pea size but is now maybe 50p size.

I had it checked out and it’s a cyst. We just have to monitor it.

If I was you I’d definitely get it checked out. My vet put a needle in it and very thick grey cheesy gunk came out (cyst).

If it is very smelly gunk (usually thinner in consistency) then it could be an abscess. This will need antibiotics (Zithromax is a good one).

I also had another piggy with a pea sized lump by his grease gland. This one had a hole in it so I could squeeze it to empty it myself (cheesy gunk). Rather satisfying

Updateeee, Taken him to the vets today, he’s all okay!
It was a cyst, the vet stuck a little needle in and a white paste come out… something out of Dr pimple popper hahaha.
I’ve just been told to monitor it, if it rapidly grows then he will need a little surgery to get it removed! But nothing that was majorly concerning!
