My boy Clyde, aged four and a half and neutered, had his incisors filed down on Wednesday 4th. Molars okay. The next day he was fine, eating normally and generally behaving just like before. However, yesterday and this morning, although he ate all his veg without much problem, he did take twice as long as the others. Also his poops are suddenly much smaller than usual. They are a good consistency, but really small, thin and pointed. As far as I know, he was not given any medication at the Vets. Although he had his incisors filed about six weeks ago, his poops have only just changed. What is wrong?

Small pointy poops can be a sign of dehydration - is he drinking the same? I don't have experience eotg dental pigs but just wondering if the water bottle could be unconfortable for him to use.
If he's struggling to eat too now though I think if it were me I'd get to the vets again for a check up.

@furryfriends Excellent Adventure Sanctuary will no doubt have much more useful and informed advice!

@Tbag, thanks for your reply. Clyde is much the same today, posturing to the girls, eating normally, he's never been a big drinker. He ate all his breakfast this morning. Didn't take quite so long as yesterday. He doesn't actually have any problem eating anything. He loves, as do all the others, the new grass hay that I bought for them. I think his poops are getting better, a bit bigger and rounder today but still much smaller than should be. But we're getting there!
