small scabs on back, is this mites

Both my GP seem to scratch quite a bit and on occasions seem to have a mad moment trying to bite an area they can not reach on their backs.

I have bathed them a few times now with a GP shampoo but one of them seems to have small little scabs on his back. Is this mites and should I try Ivermectin ?

Your best bet is to take them to the vets and get them checked out. If in doubt see a vet. If it is mites, the vet will either treat with ivermectin injections or Xeno that's applied to the skin.
