So I was having a cuddle with my 9 week old rescue boar earlier and noticed he had a small spot on his lower lip. It doesn't seem to bother him or hurt so I'm not overly worried, just curious. Have any other piggy slaves noticed this or come across this before?

Is it a discoloration or the beginnings of a sore spot?
Cheilitis can happen when piggies have too much tomato and fruit in their diet, which they should only get twice a week. If it gets worse, please see a vet.
Here is more information: http://www.guinealynx.info/cheilitis.html

It's honestly like a human blackhead or one of those lumps you get on your lip when you bite it? As far as I know it was white in colour but I could be wrong.

Just keep an eye on it and see the vet if it is gets worse!

Alrighty, thanks wiebke! Mikey is going to meet the vet for a check up next week anyway so il get it looked at then! :)

Got him out on Thursday morning and said spot had disappeared :) Still going for a vet check on Tuesday though! x
