Smartie passed away this morning aged 9 :'( , had been poorly for the last week took her the vets on Saturday who suggested putting her to sleep but she just seemed so perky then I couldn't do it, so brought her home for lots of cuddles and all her favourites foods, got her out for a cuddle and kiss before I went to bed last night and some of her fav curly parsley and she munched it down :) found her this morning :( she had decided it was time to go over rainbow bridge and hook up with her guinea pig friend Rolo who she had lived with for 7 years till Rolo past away.

Going miss you Smartie glad your not in pain anymore and hope Rolo was waiting for you, out of all the guinea pigs I could of ended up with I'm glad I had you 2 little ladies you made me smile a lot over the years and were always there through the hard times, I'm glad your back together with Rolo, as Smartie was never really the same after Rolo went xx

Sweet dreams Smartie. 7 & 9 are great ages for piggies, they must have had very happy lives. x
 
What a grand age Smartie lived to. I'm glad you got to spend some extra time with this little piggie and to say goodbye in your own way. Sleep well little one. So sorry for your loss..
 
I am so sorry to hear of your losing Smartie. I hope she hooks up with Rolo and that they have lots of cuddles and kisses. I hope too that she finds my lil Daisy who went there last week. Take care hunny, I know how sad this must be for you. XX

I'm sorry for your loss. Have fun now with Rolo at the rainbow bridge Smartie, you lived a very good and long life and deserve a good and peaceful rest.

When you lose a long living piggy like Smartie, it feels like a chapter of your life has been closed forever.

I, too, hope that Smartie can meet her best friend again!
