Stripe had some hay stuck and I got that out but it looks like he has just a bit of smegma in there because of it.
Can I clean that gently with a wet wipe?

I wipe it very gently with a damp cotton pad (the non fluffy ones with warm water).

Poor Stripe, having such fun and then something prickly happens 
I use a damp Q Tip to gently lever the goop out. Some of it will probably come out by itself, especially if a bit of the water from the Q tips dilutes it. I hope it gets more comfortable

I also use a cotton pad or Q tip with warm water - very gently and while wearing gloves! Boars can be messy haha
