Any ideas what causes smelly poo.. all their poos are normal so to speak nothing out the ordinary like soft etc but they really smell, they are in the living room and it stinks lol Ive had them to sit on me etc to try and work out who it is that has the smelly poo but alone i cant seem to pin it to anyone its really annoying. One of the girls has been on eye drops but wouldnt of thought that would of caused a problem.. only just started happening in the last couple of weeks thanks

They have science selective nuggets, only given the once, eat tons of meadow hay (the only brand they love) topped up.several times a day and vegs once a day mid day (green pepper, romaine, slice of carrot 3x a week, celery, a cherry tomato each every other day, cucumber, coriander) i feed the tomato and carrot to each of them so they dont steal from each other but the rest isnt a huge pile of veg and not all that in one go, it varies. always has been that mix thereabouts. And bottled low calcium water x

have you changed pellets recently? We noticed a difference in smell when one of our girls had Burgess not Harrington like the others

Have you been feeding broccoli or parsley the day before? They can cause stinky poos.

If in any doubt, just stop feeding fresh food for 24 hours and the problem should right itself.

Thanks all nope no brocolli or parsley only coriander but not daily, tried to keeo it simple with foods that shouldnt bloat etc too. We stopped fresh but seems to still be an issue. Havent changed nuggets recently, they have all been having a combo of 2 when the girls came in april and have been on the new one on its own for quite some time so dont think its that. Really odd! Ill see if i can do some.more floor.timewith one or two at a time to see if i can get a better idea of who lol

All the best. If in doubt, please stop any veg for a day or two to allow the guts to rebalance again. Some piggies can be more prone to digestive issues than others.
