Isabelle and Truffle enjoying a snaffle bag each. Saw a brilliant post in this group listing wild plants guinea pigs can eat. I battle almost all of them in my garden so was delighted to gradually try the girls on them. They've liked them all. As I don't know their nutrient values (eg how high in calcium they are) I only give in moderation occasionally. I already knew about dandelions and cleavers (sticky ball plant). Their snaffle bags today have a small amount of cleavers along with their veggies. Hard to get paper bags these days so was delighted to get these. Spoilt girls, yet again, but they're worth it. Oh and as I'm in the kitchen all day I've dragged their cage into here so they have company. They love it & popcorn every time I open the fridge 🙂20200519_140751_resized.webp

I buy paper bags from ebay. Mine prefer eating their hay from them. Basically because they can just lay down infront of them with their head inside and chomp. Need a nap, just turn your head to the side, easy. Wake up feeling hungry, the hay is right there.

That sounds like my husband's idea of heaven, but with steak and chips inside the bag 😆
