hi guys
After a bit of advice, Smokey has just done maybe 4 wet sneezes in his cage which I heard. I've picked him up and one of his nostrils is a little wet the other is fine.
He's sat with me now happily putting the world to rights. Breathing sounds ok and everything seems normal.
Cause for concern or a paranoid mummy? Xx

It is most likely that he has just inhaled something that has irritated his nose, especially if it the sneezing stops.
You only need to worry:

- if the frequent sneezing and clear discharge continue throughout the day, as that could indicate that something is stuck in the nose
- if your boy is also showing other signs of URI like crackling or rasping breathing, weight loss/diminished or loss of appetite, crusty yellow discharge on eyes or nose or repeated coughing (as opposed to occasional coughing after scoffing food too quickly).

He's not sneezed since but I will definitely keep an eye on him. Give him a big cuddle and his response was a lovely warm wee on mummy. Thanks Wiebke x
