So recently I got that new baby guinea pig, about 2 wheeks ago, she seemed to be fine the first few days but I still scheduled a vet appointment for both the new baby (who is still nameless) and my current skinny pig, Turbo. I started the introduction process immediately since the baby was quite young and they got along great, a few days passed however and they had both started sneezing. Turbo hadnt been sneezing before I got the baby, so I knew something was up. Both of them had nose discharge and sneezing, but that was it, no eye gunk or change in appetite. It's been like that for the past 2 wheeks since the sneezing started. Eventually the vet appointment came around and the vet said they both seemed healthy and in extremely good health even after I told her they were sneezing with discharge.

Whats odd is back when Turbo used to have Piggles, they would both sneeze, but then when Piggles left us Turbo stopped sneezing for the most part unless she was digging in the bottom of the hay bag. I mean maybe they baby is allergic to hairless guinea pigs and Turbo is allergic to furred guinea pigs? Or I wonder if they're allergic to the bedding? My parents had me using natural lavender scented bedding even after telling them it wasn't good, but they finally listened this time and got me a bag of normal paper bedding, so maybe I can try to see if that makes a difference.

I'm truely lost on why they may be sneezing with discharge.:hmm:
