Sneezing Boar

I've got a 5 month old boar called Tyrion, he started sneezing and getting a runny nose about 2 - 3 months ago, he was taken to the vet who said it wasn't a URI, she gave him Baytril... after the course he was still sneezing.. so he had more Baytril.... but he's STILL sneezing and has a runny nose! Is it possible it's an allergy or could there be something else going on with him? It's definitely not a URI because he's nothing like Snow or Sheamus were when they had URI's. He's active, eating, drinking.

Could be an allergy to something. Have you tried changing the hay?

He's on Ings at the mo, yeah I think I'll have to try something else, it's not dusty and doesn't really flare my allergies up, but he's a little delicate but VERY cute piggie, so who knows eh.

What do you think would be ok for him?

@Kerrie74 Our vet is treating a piggy with hayfever at the moment.... Maybe worth discussing with your vet,
 
Ah okie dokie, thanks @sport_billy I'll have to try and get him to Spondon as that's where the exotics vet usually practices, she does come to the Nottingham surgery but I checked yesterday and she won't be there for the next three weeks.

Have a look at your setting though a box may have become unticked..... That one will happen as we generate it.

Software plays silly sausages at times....
 
hi, ask your vet to do a nose swab ! that should tell you one way or ther other ,
