Hi. Ginny is sneezing, has sneezed at least five times in past 20 minutes. I'm incredibly worried as he's elderly and might give up quicker. Booked an appointment for three pm. He seems a bit quieter though not sure if I'm imagining it. Food is also in front of his bottom teeth near the gum, which Minja started having when she grew ill, freaking out honestly

Can't see any discharge from nose or eyes or mouth, weight is 900g roughly. Pooing fine, though twisted at the ends a bit for a few, dehydrated? Also doing little puffs of air through his nose every so often, like a little phf as if dust has gotten in his nose. He's been doing that for months however

Please don't panic; it is likely that he had something in nose that was irritating, like some pollen or hay dust. All the best at the vets! ;)

Two hours to go. Just came from my own doctor appt aha. Picked him up to find white around his area, maybe I picked him up too soon after he weed? I don't know if he did however

On way home from vets :) Vet didn't see any problem, Ginnys resting in his carrier. Feeling much better about the situation, especially with two girls coming on Sunday :)

Regarding normal breathing, you shouldn't really be able to hear it when you are handling them. If you put your ear to the side of the chest you should hear what sound like bellows and underneath that the heartbeat. Any crackling or other odd sounds mean you should get him checked at the vet. Glad to hear that all is well though. Probably just some iritating dust up his little nose.
