My rabbit has started to have sneezing fits and I am not sure why. She got caught out in the rain after I let her out of the hutch and I had to bring her indoors to dry off and sleep since her hutch ended up getting too wet to keep her in. She has been inside a couple of times before and I have been trying to keep her cool and not hot.
But she keeps having sneezing fits and I am really worried :( I have tried asking on the rabbit forums but no one is awake on there and I tried yahoo answers and they both said it could be snuffles. I tried to check for discharge but couldn't see any.
I am really worried :( I just want her to be alright. it is 2 in the morning and I am so paranoid I am watching her every move and I am getting really stressed and upset :( Please someone help

Love i saw your post about her getting wet :{
I have no idea about buns but i'd think if you dried her off and made sure she was warm and eating and drinking that is a good start!
Maybe see if you can ask a question on a US site as i'm sure quite a few would still be awake over there :)

GOOD LUCK FOR LITTLE BUN XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX

That's a good idea, thankyou Glynis.
I gave her food and water and she ate and drank well enough, poo all seems normal, was playing around like she usually would be, I made sure she didn't get too hot...I am just getting so upset :( I want her to be ok...She is dozing off and isn't sneezing all that much...nor is she snoring which is good right? that means there isn't any mucus in her nose...No sleep for me, going to be watching her like a hawk

Try to get some sleep, but check on her regularly if you can :)
Remember too that their under hair can stay damp if you're not careful......well this is what the piggies are like.......so check and bury your fingers into her pelt and make sure right down deep isn't damp.

I will check her coat, it is quite dense so I am hoping the water just sat on the top layer. I will try to sleep, but only when I know that she is doing ok. She hasn't sneezed in a while touch wood and she seems to be sleeping quite soundly

No worries :) I think I figured out why she was sneezing. I watched what she did after she woke up and found that when she was on/sniffing the rug she was having violent sneezes. I took the rug away and she seems perfectly fine :) I will keep an eye on her just in case but I am very relieved that taking the rug away stopped the sneezing.
I also saw her do a bunny flop for the first time ever x) she did 3 lol

I know, I wish I could keep her inside always but I will have to wait to move out of my mums house :/ I felt so bad putting her back outside but I went mad with everything I could think of to help keep her warm in this weather. Tons of hay and straw, a hot water bottle wrapped in a towel underneath the hay, a towel covering her cage plus tarpolin which I have zip tied to crazy to make sure it doesn't blow off. Not sure what else I could do for her
